This project, is essentially a modification of Xposed, allowing to work with MIUI firmware.
The project is based on the main idea Xposed - modifies system (and not only) applications without interfering with the application itself.

(2) Installation Instructions: (from @exodius48)

• Clean install your current rom using mi flash. Tick flash all on mi flash. (as mentioned before)

• After complete flashing, reboot system.

• Install twrp. Root your device using SuperSU SR4 as systemless. Don't forget to type this from twrp's terminal before flash SuperSU:

  Copy the Code

1. echo "SYSTEMLESS=true" > /data/.supersu

• Reboot device.

• Install magisk manager, open it, grant superuser request. Install magisk if it is asked. Reboot.

• Install Xposed solarwarez magisk version from twrp (link provided). Make sure you select correct version based on your rom SDK & processor architecture.

• Reboot device. Then install Xposed material design. Check xposed status (3).
  

**REBOOT FAIL/BRICKED:

• Flash xposed-uninstaller-20160829-arm64.zip

• Retry by factory reset
  

(3) Checking:
✓ Check in Material Design Xposed Installer and it should be active.
✓ Check in Magisk Manager and you should be able to toggle Root
✓ ALL DONE! 

To uninstall：
1. Uninstall Xposed.apk
2. Flash  xposed-uninstaller-20150831-arm64.zip (299.16 KB, Downloads: 7759) via TWRP

MIUI 5 / 6 ONLY - WSM TOOLS

To install WSM tools, download this apps: (not recommended for MIUI 7)
Download :  wsm.manager_REDMI_NOTE.apk (1.41 MB, Downloads: 68937) 
FIX:  WSM_XPOSED_5.9.25FIX.zip (428.28 KB, Downloads: 29245) 

FOLLOW THE STEPS:

• Install it

• After opening the apps, install the framework. (Failed to grant root access will be shown)

• Go to Security > Permission > Root access> Enable WSM Tools

• Go back WSM Tools and install framework again

• Reboot your device

• Enjoy!
  

NOT ACTIVE ERROR TRY THIS:

• Download any root explorer, skip if you have one.

• Navigate to root->data->data->de.robv.android.xposed.installer->conf

• If you find a file named 'disabled', delete it

• Reboot and go into recovery mode FLASH AGAIN
